SUNSET SGM
The module - supporting frames are light, stable and corrosion-resistant. They offer a sure module anchorage and keep wind speeds of up to 200 km/h and all other extreme weather conditions reliably suited. The racks are easy in mounting and are also easy to transport in impracticable terrain.
The module – supporting frames are available in two sizes:
· SGM 8: for the assembling of 1 - 4 modules AS 120
· SGM 4: for the assembling of 1 - 2 modules AS 120
These module – supporting frames are also suitable distinguished for big photovoltaic-systems. These shall be elevated on a flat roof.
Both modules consist of two parallel mounting profiles, two supporting legs and the bottom attachment. A detailed assembling instruction and all necessary mounting parts will be provided. At the choice of the materials was particularly respected the abrasion resistance and the compatibility with other materials of the system.
The extruded anodized stilts and porters of these robust supporting frame are made of hot-dip galvanized sheet steel. The downtilt of both standard racks can be brought into line with the geographical situation of the assembly place and is in the area between 15 ° and 65 ° adjustably in 5 ° steps.
The module-supporting frames are designated for the installation of the prepared foundation.
SUNSET SUNpremium
The Field-Mounting-System SUNpremium® is a special development for PV field installations and large PV systems. All components are made of aluminium and stainless steel. Thus a high durability and the possibility of recycling is ensured.
Further advantages to other mounting systems:
- Fast installation due to a special shaped profile rail which is suitable for all SUNSET modules.
- Each system is customized. The distance to ground and the inclination of the whole system can be chosen individually.
- This system is siutable for all locations worldwide because local statics, windspeeds and snowweights will be incorporated.
- All systems can be combined with our earth screws as foundation, which is a very simple and quick method for a secure and fast installation. (These earth screws are already enclosed in our SUNpremium® system).
SUNSET SUNpower Roof
SUNSETs roof integration system allows solar generators to be incorporated harmonically into a roof with the modules protruding barely a centimetre from the surface of the roof. This is the favoured system for new buildings and for the restoration of old roofs. Individual fabrication allows the system to be adapted to nearly every type of roof
Aluminium cladding is fixed to roof lathes or roof boards instead of conventional tiling to make a watertight completely closed substructure. This structure is equipped with joints to which modules are connected. The joints can be adapted to the respectice module types. A watertight conduit is included in the substructur.
SUNSET SDMA
Parallel roof installation with SRMS
Our sloping roof mounting system made of aluminium, called SRMS, can be used for all types of slope roofs with standard tiles.
The main components are stainless steel rafter anchors to secure the substructure on the roof, aluminium shaped rails to hold the solar panels and module-related small parts for fixing the solar generators. The modules are mounted vertically side by side and can be arranged in several rows.
At first, the tile must be moved to the side so that the rafter anchor can be hung at the rafter. To fix it the anchor is directly screwed on the rafter. Then the upper tile can be put back and the shaped aluminium rails can be fixed on the protruding ends of the hooks.
Before installing the solar modules on the roof two small hooks for each module should be fastened at the pre-drilled module frame. Later on, the solar modules are hung on these hooks into the rails. With this, a horizontal alignment of the solar modules is possible since the modules can slide within the rail. The first and the last module of a row are fixed with two z-angle profiles each, whereas the other modules are fastened to the aluminium rail by module clamps.
Our substructure offers the opportunity to take out single modules in case of maintenance work without disassembling all modules of the relevant solar generator part.
To avoid long installation hours all component parts are ready to use. The length of the rails are customised according to your number of modules.
SUNSET FDMA
The FRMF is a sturdy, weather resistant and durable mounting frame for the installation of solar modules on flat roofs and with slight modifications on façades.
· Calculate turbulences, vibrations, gusts, etc. as peak loads.
· Check if shearing forces may have to be taken on by cross wires.
· Verify that the maximum load the roof is allowed to carry is not exceeded.
· Remove gravel, and protect the roof with bitumen- or rubber mats. Avoid point loads.
· Check the lightning protection by a specialist.
The wind load has to be calculated by the erection company, according to international norms! The modules are to be weighed down with sufficient counterweights (concrete paving). Span cross wires if needs be. We recommend the use of at least two concrete paving stones (50 x 50 x 8 cm; 50 kg per slab) per module. The size of counter weights is to be verified according to site conditions.
We cannot accept liability for damages caused by the use or the mounting of flat roof mounting frames as conditions at the mounting site are unknown to us and we have no influence over these! Please check the conditions at the mounting site thoroughly, and consult a civil engineer if necessary.
