All components and solar systems include a 24-month warranty, subject to SUNSET's terms of payment and delivery. Furthermore, SUNSET offers a performance guarantee on the following products:

The performance warranty includes all damages on our products that considerably decrease the performance of the systems, affect the roof density or jeopardize the stability or structural safety.
All costs for mounting and replacement are excluded.
The performance warranty begins on the date of construction (see type plate) or, at the latest, on delivery to the end user.

Warranty claims can only be submitted in the following cases:

·         The resulting damage is reported immediately within 14 days.

·         The products were stored in a dry area and according to instructions.

·         Parts, samples, pictures or other necessary information requested in order to investigate
the cause of damage have been sent to SUNSET.

·         No components were demounted by a third party without permission of SUNSET.

·         The delivered parts were installed subjet to the mounting instructions given by SUNSET and within the generally acknowledged rules of technology.

·         The solar system has not been and will not be exposed to aggressive substances.

·         The damage was not caused by frost.

·         Broken glass is not the basis for the claim.

·         The damage is not the result of improper or non-permitted behavior of a third party or due to force majeure.

·         The initial operation and maintenance of the system were performed and protocoled in accordance with the instructions given by SUNSET.

SUNSET payes damages for defect products or, alternatively, repairs them. Arising expenses for installation or transportation are excluded. Any expenses for warranty claims can only be accepted in the case of a warranty and the order was made in written form.
